One last AC post. Well, just two days after a visit to the repair shop the air conditioner quit again. Doug was right, the first repair by the technician was far too easy! To temporarily fix it, Doug just manually turned the fan fast enough to start running when the compressor was on. Thank goodness since we are having heat days of over 100 degrees. We are taking no chances and are running the fan 24/7 so it won’t stop turning again. Solution-ordered a fan capacitor. So another 30 mile trip to pick it up tomorrow, and Doug will install it himself. After our experience the other day, we are not hauling the RV back to the shop. We already had to pay a high fee for one hour of labor and we still have a problem. Thank goodness Doug knows how to fix things. We will be so glad to leave on Sunday! Hopefully we are leaving high heat, high winds, and problems far behind us!
Hutsells came out and fixed the Bungalow's AC today. Thank goodness it was just the thermostat. Now it's working as good as gold. We are out of here on Saturday.
